Experience life as it was in the "good old days"! The fifth generation of our family is living on Damesfontein. - our ancestors arrived in 1838. A small museum pays homage to their pioneering life.
We have laid out a bossie path nearby where a clearly marked trail leads you from one veld treasure to another. Elsewhere on the farm, mountain bikers can enjoy cycling along our walking paths. In the hills fossils are still being discovered and some specimens are also on display in the farm museum.
For those who come to enjoy this abundant heritage, Damesfontein waits to welcome you.
The guest house is fully equipped for up to nine people. In summer it offers a cool and relaxing haven, in winter you can warm your memories in front of a blazing log fire.
You will feel the difference when you come to our farm - it's the Karoo air entering your senses, you breathe more deeply, life beats to a different rhythm here, a rhythm of peace.
