Hamba Kancane Ma-Africa Guest House is situated in Graskop Mpumalanga South-Africa, a small rustic village perched on a spur of the Mauchberg at an altitude of 1493m above sea level and only a mere three and a half hour drive from Johannesburg.

History
The Guest House started in the spring of 2006 and immediately the success of this unique concept and idea could be seen by the extremely high occupancy rate.

The excellent African cuisine that is prepared by the in-house chief chef is out of this world and can be described as the best in the country

The ‘Three Rondawels, also called 'Three Sisters’) are three huge spirals of dolomite rock rising out of the far wall of the Blyde River canyon.

Historic Pilgrims Rest
The history of this small delightful village dates back to 1873 when a miner, Alex Patterson, discovered gold on the farm Ponieskrantz.The diggers called it Pilgrim's Rest because here, at last, after so many false trails, they had found their home.

Mac Mac Falls
This waterfall was originally a single stream, but gold miners blasted it with dynamite to divert the river in an attempt to work the rich gold-bearing reef over which it plunges.

Bourkes Luck Potholes
The Potholes were named after a gold digger, Tom Burke, who staked a claim nearby. Although his claim did not produce a single ounce of gold, he correctly predicted that large gold deposits would be found in the area.
