About the venue
Close to the N1 hiway, nestled in a hidden corner of Irene Country Village Centurion is Flowers place bed and breakfast or self catering accommodation. 4 Luxurious en suite rooms leading from a beautiful garden with its melodious water features all add to the ambiance of peace and tranquility.
Irene country village with its massive trees and charms from various owners since 1902 has a safe, relaxed and tranquil environment. To go for a walk, run or cycle is no problem. Guards patrol the area either on foot or bicycle and the entrances are controlled for your safety. The Village of Irene boasts a cricket oval which not only accommodates cricketers but all manner of relaxed activities, picnics and fetes. Children playing, dogs and their owners, runners and cyclists are often seen just doing their own thing. - About 100m from the bed and breakfast is the old Irene dairy farm, purchased and developed around 1902, is the only real part of the Irene farm left. Along with its dairy cows and milking shed it is now home to a country shop with its various culinary delights and creamy milk straight from the cows. A restaurant, housed in the old barn with a relaxed outdoor area which offers a farm experience second to none. Surrounded by giant trees and various ponds which boast their own black swans. Meetings, gatherings or just sundowners and a light meal can be enjoyed to the sounds of various birds, cows mooing and the trees blowing in the breeze
- We are situated a short 28kms from Oliver Thambo Airport which, on our lovely new 4 lane hiway shouldn’t take you more than 20 minutes to get to us
- The much acclaimed Gautrain will be operational within the next couple of months, this station will literally be within 7km of the bed and breakfast with connections to the airport and Sandton

- Available within a short drive is Centurion Mall and Irene Mall. Both offer movies, shopping, restaurants and other entertainment
- Even closer Southdowns Shopping Centre offers various health and beauty services, Drs rooms and restaurants
- Along with the train station 2 excellent restaurants, a chemist, mini supermarket, fish and chip shop, bottle store and the old post office which is now an art gallery are also situated less than 250m from the bed and breakfast
- 2kms away, below the Smuts monument on every 2nd and last Saturday of the month is the famous Irene flea market renowned for its original hand crafted items from furniture to clothing and various artwork and antiques. A tea garden and music compliment the whole experience
- For weddings or functions, golf, tennis, squash or bowls players, within half a kilometer is the Irene Country Club and Restaurant
- Last but not least, Super sport Park in Centurion, home of the Titans cricket team is also within a short 7 minute drive from Irene

Facilities
Behind safe, old Irene stone walls with its enclosed, private parking, the accommodation has four fully air conditioned en suite rooms. Each privately accessed room has a flat screen T.V with a hotel bouquet offering a choice of movies, sports and news channels. All rooms have fully stocked mini bar fridges and coffee/tea making trays to make your stay as relaxing as possible. The honey moon suite boasts a 19th century king sized 4 poster bed, Oregon pine floors and a full bathroom.

- Rates are negotiable depending on length of stay
- Included in the bed and breakfast rate to enjoy at your leisure is a delicious continental breakfast tray consisting of cold meats, cheeses and bread or croissant. Muesli, yoghurt, fresh seasonal fruit, fruit juice and coffee.
Should you have any special dietary needs these will be catered for to the best of our ability

Balance for bed and breakfast payable prior to arrival
- For self catering period of stay will determine payment terms
- Indemnity form to be completed on arrival
- Due to the various open water features in the garden children under 12 are not encouraged
- As this is a residential area respect for adjoining properties regarding noise pollution must be adhered to
