About the venue

The bay becomes South Africa's whale nursery between May and November, when the Southern Right whales arrive to mate and calve. Air del Mar offers its guests the opportunity to walk, swim or laze in safety on endless beaches just a few steps away. We are situated right next to the ocean with private stairs down onto the beach. Let the waves lull you to sleep at night.

There are many activities in and around the Garden Route with an airport and many spectacular golf courses at George. Beautiful beaches and lots of sunshine at Mossel Bay; Game viewing, Ostrich Farms, mountain biking, walk and feeding elephants, caving and abseiling at Oudsthoorn; and not to forget Knysna with great shopping, boat trips, fantastic restaurants and bars and of course oysters.
