About the venue
In the heart of the Tsitsikamma Forest (place of many waters) you will find peace, indigenous plants, animals and fynbos... here you will find Storms River Guest Lodge. 15 Lovely en-suite rooms (from single to a size for a family of five, and even space for Snoopy the dog, with prior arrangement) brings comfort and rest for the night. Enjoy a steamy hot chocolate (or a glass of red) in front of our cozy log fire in winter time or feel the sun on your skin at our private swimming pool, in Summer. Relax while being served the dinner of your choice in our fully licenced Copper Kettle Restaurant (strictly according to reservations) or enjoy a truly South African braai under the open skies.
Storms River Guest Lodge Rates and T's and C'sThe Tsitsikamma forest is situated in the Eastern Cape, and lies between the Tsitsikamma Mountain range and the coastline, halfway between George and Port Elizabeth. The Storms River Village is situated on the N2 between two famous bridges, the Bloukrans Bridge & the Paul Sauer (Storms River) bridge. Storms River Village is approximately 4 kilometers before the Paul Sauer Bridge, coming from Cape Town.

- This is also where the start of the famous 5 day Otter Trail is located. The 1st day of the Otter is an easy 3 hour hike to the Waterfall

- Storms River Bridge - (Paul Sauer Bridge): Single span 190m long, 125.5m above the Storms River Gorge, completed in 1954. This is the highest cantilever bridge of it's kind
Activities within 15km of the lodge:- Bloukrans Bungy: The world's highest commercial bungy jump at 216m from the Bloukrans Bridge. To access the jump point on the top of the arch is via a specially engineerd walkway underneath the road deck in almost a mystical way
- The Flying Fox: is a thrilling 200m slide from the edge of the spectacular Bloukrans gorge to the centre arch of this magnificent bridge
- The Tsitsikamma Falls Adventure Park which features: Waterfall Zipline tours: 2 hours of adventure criss-crossing the river on a slide system - longest slide is 211m

- Elephant Sanctuary: Provides a safe haven for 6 elephants and a platform for guest education and interaction. Guests can walk trunk-in-hand, touch, feed and experience elephant back riding in a natural environment
- Lawnwood Snake Sanctuary: Offers hourly guided tours, consisting of an indigenous Snake Pitt, a Boomslang exhibit, a monitor Lizzard enclosure, a dome housing South African and exotic snakes and a large python room

- Fynbos Golf: Destined to become one of the top 9 hole golf courses in South Africa. The golf course is characterized by well-defined tee boxes, tiered landing areas, and bunkers protecting spacious greens. A major feature of the course is a wetlands area that trickles into a catchment dam. The green complexes consist of paspalum, a grass type that is suited to coastal conditions. The kikuyu fairways are bordered by semi-rough covered with natural grass and fynbos
