Cango Wildlife Ranch is a great day out for the whole family with reptiles, cheetahs, crocodiles and even natural encounters available.Cango Wildlife RanchOudtshoorn AttractionsWhen you arrive at the Cango Wildlife Ranch you will be met by your tour guide who will let you know what time your tour starts. Please note there are no set times for tours and booking is essential for groups of more than 10. The wait after you arrive and before your tour starts is usually no more than 30 minutes. During this time you can take a look at the snake park, curios shops, wallaby walkabout, lorikeet aviary or just grab a bite to eat at one of the restaurants. The Cango Wildlife Ranch tours typically last about 45-60 minutes in duration. During that time you will be taken on a guided tour through the Valley of Ancients and then through to Cheetahland. The Valley of Ancients includes a number of animals and reptiles while at Cheetahland you get the chance to meet the big cats. After the tour has finshed visitors are more than welcome to re-visit some of the attractions to get extra photos.At the Cango Wildlife Ranch you also have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a natural interaction with Cheetah, Tiger, Reptiles and even a Nile Crocodile. The croc-cage dive is open to people age 12 years and older where you come face-to-face with a giant Nile Crocodile in a submerged cage. These encounters are not included in your normal entrance fee see prices below for Natural Encounters. It is advisable to wear comfortable walking shoes with sunscreen and light clothing plus a hat during the summer months and an umbrella during the winter months. Temperatures between December and February usually range in the mid 30 degrees celcius while from June to August it can be anything between 7 and 22 degrees celcius.
