The third day of this year’s annual Bathurst Agricultural Show in the Eastern Cape of South Africa turned out to be the best day in terms of weather. Warm sunshine and blue skies greeted the hundreds of visitors creating a perfect day. Having paid our R50 (adults) entrance fee we set off to wander around the many and varied stalls selling everything from clothes, pet accessories, home grown food, crafts, gardening tools to toys. The crowds wandering around were made up of families, young people and a few well behaved dogs on leads.

The Bathurst Agricultural Show is spread out across the Bathurst Showgrounds located just outside the pretty village of Bathurst. There is plenty of parking available in the surrounding fields. (more…)
