The Cape Town International Jazz Festival is the biggest annual jazz event in South Africa and is staged at the International Convention Centre in Cape Town in March 2012. Now in its thirteenth year this event is now attracting over 30,000 jazz fans. This years event will take place over the nights of March 30th and March 31st 2012. Forty international and national artists will play over 5 different stages providing a weekend’s worth of performances. Acts that have previously played here include Elvis Costello and Jamie Cullum.

An exciting line-up is planned for this years event with such renowned artists as James Ingram who has been nominated 6 times for a Grammy. Other great acts include Mike Stern, Patti Austin and the Brubeck bothers. Patti Austin will be joining up with Dave Koz one of the greatest jazz saxophonists.

Tickets for the Jazz Festival cost R400 for a one day pass, R550 for a two-day weekend pass. Tickets for the people wanting to see concerts on the Rosie Stage will incur an additional R30 charge.
