The cottage is situated in a leafy, quiet part of Deneysville, with access to the town’s CBD and is just 190 m from the waters edge of the Vaal Dam. The property is ideal for families with children who wish to walk along the shoreline without crossing busy roads. 

The thatched cottage comprises 2 bedrooms, a shared bathroom with a toilet, shower, corner bath and basin, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The main bedroom is carpeted and contains a queen-size bed, a dressing table, and built-in cupboards. The second bedroom is also carpeted, and contains 2 three-quarter beds and built-in cupboards. There is an upstairs loft, which is mostly unused and undergoing some renovations, which can be used as a children’s play area. 

The cottage has burglar proofing all round, as well as a security door. The interior is an airy open-plan type layout with air-conditioning, a stove, a fridge, and ample space for groceries. Cutlery, crockery, and basic kitchen utensils have been provided. There is no TV or DStv. Guests have access to undercover parking for 1 car, as well as a large back garden and an outside lapa behind the main house with braai facilities.
