Brand new accommodation. Named the Ram stables as the original stone was once the stables for the Rams on the farm. Glencairn farm is nestled under the magnificent drakensberg mountains on the iconic Sani Pass Road. It is home to 400 Donne marino sheep, 2 donkeys, a bull terrier and basset hound. It is also the host of the Sani2c mountain bike stage race which is the biggest in the world with 4500 cyclists over three days. without sani2c there would be no Glencairn farm. It takes place every May.
In October 1000 runners make their way to Glencairn to run the Glencairn trail run which is a two day trail run stage race established in 2016. The runners are based at Glencairn every night and are lucky to run this beautiful area in early October.
Glencairn Farm is now also a wedding venue - Glencairn Weddings and when not hosting weddings the accommodation can be used by passing travellers wanting to escape the hustle and bustle. Relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Southern Drakensberg.
