Affordable accomodation. Schoenmakerskop is a quiet village situated approximately 8 km from Port Elizabeth on the seacoast. Whale viewing during August and September.

Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast with cereal, yoghurt, bacon, eggs and tea or coffee every morning. The yard is enclosed and guests are welcome to bring their dog with them. 
Parking is also available on the property and the gate is locked at night. 
The cottage has two bedrooms furnished with either a double bed or two single beds. The bathroom is shared between the two rooms and consists of a bath with a handheld shower. 
The kitchen is equipped with a toaster, tea and coffee facilities, a microwave and a small fridge, and the lounge offers a TV with Compact DStv. 
Parking is available on site.
Guests can relax on the beach across the road or take a swim, and there are also two hiking trials for the more energetic. 
The area is a popular fishing site and there is a restaurant next to the cottage that is open every day, except on Mondays.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 4 nights. Excellent and friendly service was the norm from the owner who saw to all our needs. Nothing was too much for her and we will definitely be back even just to say hello!
