This unknown jewel is situated on the banks of the Vaal River and the historical village of Venterskroon. Closer to Parys than Potchefstroom. Venterskroon is at the centre of the Vredefortdome World Heritage site. Accommodation is offered in the private and secluded Fin and Feather honeymoon cottage, the main house, and Brian’s Cabin. Both Fin and Feather and Brian’s Cabin can accommodate 4 guests, and the main house can accommodate 10 guests. Thaba Noka also offers The Conference and Pool House, which is a double-storey building situated in the gardens on the banks of the Vaal River. The conference room is on the upper level and has large glass windows. The lower level comprises a large lounge area with a wooden deck overlooking the river. There is a small kitchen, a bar with a double-door fridge, and a toilet.
Just across the road from Thaba Noka is the Old Imperial Inn Hotel where you can try one of their authentic breakfasts, lunches and dinners all served in a nostalgic setting. The hills and mountains were a result of the meteor impact that happened millions of years ago causing a total different scenery than the normal Highveld. The Vaal River is the other boundary to Thaba Noka.
