Amanzi Empilo is newly built from river stones and blends in perfectly along the Bell river and the Drakensberg mountains. The name means "healing waters" in the local Xhosa language and its situation is such since it is 50m from the river.

The Southern Drakensberg surrounds the bungalow which is snow capped in winter and filled with wild alpine flowers in summer.

This newly built bungalow accommodates 4 people. It is an open plan unit with a double bed, bunker bed, en suite bathroom and has a lounge/ dining area and kitchenette. The appliances is powered with solar and gas and it has a donkey system for hot water.

The huge deck has a outside braai area and has a breath taking view over the river and valley. There is under cover parking available for two vehicles and a staircase leads to the bungalow.

This rustic unit is the perfect break away from the busy city life.

The area has the following to offer: 4x4 routes, hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking, trail running, rock art, bird watching, guided flower tours in summer, ski-ing in winter, horse riding all in fresh clean and unpolluted terrain.
